Tsek muna bago bayad

Check the QR before you pay.

TsekQR reads any QR Ph payment code or link and tells you, in plain words, who you're really paying and whether something looks wrong: a swapped sticker, an altered code, or a scam website.

How it works

Scan with your camera, pick a screenshot from Messenger or Viber, or paste the QR text. Everything about a payment QR is checked on your phone.

1

See who you're paying

The payee name shows in large letters, with "Personal account" when a store sticker actually pays a person.

2

Catch altered codes

Every QR Ph code has a built-in checksum. If someone edited it, TsekQR says "Don't pay".

3

Spot scam links

Look-alike GCash, Maya, bank, courier and government sites are flagged, and links are checked against scam lists before you open them.

For stores and online sellers

Switch to "I'm selling" and protect your income.

  • Counter check: register your real QR once, then scan your counter sticker daily. A swapped sticker shows red.
  • Confirm a payment: a quick checklist to look in your own app, not the buyer's screenshot. Old receipts shown again are caught.
  • Refund-scam guide: what to do when someone says they "sent too much".
  • Logs you can export for disputes and records. Kept on your phone only.

A screenshot is not proof of payment. Only the money showing in your own GCash or Maya app counts. TsekQR helps you build that habit and keep a record.

Multi-branch stores: ask us about the merchant plan with more counters and owner alerts at Support.

Private by design

  • No account needed, no ads.
  • Payment QR details never leave your phone.
  • Only website links are checked online, without anything after "?".
  • We never sell data or lists of reported accounts.

Got scammed?

Contact your e-wallet or bank right away and ask them to trace and hold the money. TsekQR helps you prepare a report for the CICC (hotline 1326) or eGovPH. It never sends anything for you.
